Highlighting Innovation in Digital Certification
Last November, the CONCERTO project had the privilege of being represented at the EASA Certification Conference on Digital Certification in Köln, Germany. This event, hosted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), brought together key stakeholders to discuss the future of digital certification in aviation.
Olivier JEUNEHOMME, a key contributor to our work on the Digital Certification Framework, delivered an engaging and insightful presentation. His talk offered a comprehensive synthesis of the digital certification activities conducted within the EASA Stakeholders Advisory Body (SAB) group AG.002, which focuses on advancing digital certification processes.
Driving Progress in Digital Certification
At the heart of this presentation was the recognition of digital certification as a crucial enabler for aviation innovation and competitiveness. By improving certification processes through digital tools and methodologies, the aviation sector can significantly reduce the time-to-market for future products while maintaining the highest safety standards.
The CONCERTO project is proud to play a leading role in supporting the AG.002 group’s mission. Through collaboration and research, CONCERTO is helping to shape a framework that will accelerate the adoption of innovative aviation technologies, benefiting the entire industry.
Supporting EASA's Vision
EASA's commitment to fostering innovation and efficiency in certification aligns closely with CONCERTO’s objectives. By working together with key stakeholders, the CONCERTO project contributes valuable expertise and insights to ensure the aviation sector remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
